Designed partly by James Braid, it sits over 1,200 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest courses in the UK. The layout is truly unique, opening with three consecutive par-3s and offering a challenge defined by heather-lined fairways and undulating terrain rather than sheer length. The place is awesome - with fantastic views over the Shropshire Hills, for me simply a "must".
