Set in an undulating landscape on the cliffs of Cape Cornwall and on the doorstep to the National Trust’s heritage sites, there is nowhere like it in England. Cape Cornwall Club offers an 18-hole golf course with a challenging par 70/5672 yards off the white tees, all the way down to a shorter par 63/4105 yards from the forward blue tees intended to encourage beginners and those with the highest handicaps. Features of the course include Cornish hedges and rocky walls, which, along with the capricious winds, add to the challenge and can alter your choice of club significantly each time you play.
Each of the 18 holes offers incredible views with some of the most scenic geographical features in the United Kingdom. On a calm, sunny day, you can see all the way out to the Isles of Scilly.

Links course with great scenery on the back nine. Arrived late, there was only time for nine holes. The secretary allowed us to play the first two holes and then switch to hole 12 for the ocean-front scenery! Caught a sunny evening with a slight breeze. Great! Blind holes makes it difficult to play for first-timers. Greens were inconsistent but this did not diminish our experience.

As previously described, the golf course is divided into the front and back nine holes. The front nine consist of three very easy holes. These run directly next to each other without any kind of separation between them. Six holes run down to the sea and back again. These holes are barely playable. There are too many blind shots, too few guide rails, and the sloping fairways are quite challenging.
The back nine holes are the complete opposite. Three of them offer beautiful views of the sea. The other six run almost entirely parallel to each other without any barriers. There are virtually no fish or trees. With one exception, the holes are rather easy.

We vacationed in an apartment on the golf course in June 2018.
The team at the golf club really impressed us, as we had to cancel twice due to the foggy weather and were allowed to start again at tee 1 the next day without any additional green fee costs.
