Set in an undulating landscape on the cliffs of Cape Cornwall and on the doorstep to the National Trust’s heritage sites, there is nowhere like it in England. Cape Cornwall Club offers an 18-hole golf course with a challenging par 70/5672 yards off the white tees, all the way down to a shorter par 63/4105 yards from the forward blue tees intended to encourage beginners and those with the highest handicaps. Features of the course include Cornish hedges and rocky walls, which, along with the capricious winds, add to the challenge and can alter your choice of club significantly each time you play.
Each of the 18 holes offers incredible views with some of the most scenic geographical features in the United Kingdom. On a calm, sunny day, you can see all the way out to the Isles of Scilly.

Links course with great scenery on the back nine. Arrived late, there was only time for nine holes. The secretary allowed us to play the first two holes and then switch to hole 12 for the ocean-front scenery! Caught a sunny evening with a slight breeze. Great! Blind holes makes it difficult to play for first-timers. Greens were inconsistent but this did not diminish our experience.

We vacationed in an apartment on the golf course in June 2018.
The team at the golf club really impressed us, as we had to cancel twice due to the foggy weather and were allowed to start again at tee 1 the next day without any additional green fee costs.
In the wind and not only then a demanding course, because without a birdiebook the course of the course can only be guessed at.
It's worth doing a lap there and then dining in the restaurant.

We played the course on 12/09/2016 at extremely windy conditions. That's Links Golf!!
The application was very relaxed because there are no tee times. The office team was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately there was no Birdie Books more, as they were sold out. It was but emofohken to fotigrafieren map in Office, which should prove to be (see below) as helpful.
The first 9 are safe (up to hole 4) is not so exciting, but even here the view is phenomenal. The signs on the individual holes is unfortunately very moderately, but only at the holes 3 and 12 bit annoying, since one without score Saver (Birdie-Book), would have to rely on speculation, where it for now continues. The photo of the site plan has helped at this point! But you want to improve the signage, so we were told after the round at least.
The second 9 or better the last 7 are on the other side of the road again and start with a, even without wind already heavy Par4, which must be played blind valley. Very challenging :-)
All in all, a course that certainly is a hard nut for beginners and players without links experience. But even then the view from the cliff is spectacular! A must if you're in the area!
