Founded in 1933, Borås Golfklubb is one of Sweden's oldest clubs, offering a diverse golfing experience in a scenic setting. The facility features two 18-hole courses: the Norra Banan, a parkland layout set amidst mixed forest with large, challenging greens, and the Södra Banan, a hilly and narrow course where strategy takes precedence over length. A high-tech training center, a 9-hole short course, and the on-site "Vita Vilan" B&B allow for a complete stay, while the restaurant serves as a social hub for members and guests.

How threatened... we went back to Boras in our Sweden-Holiday 2015. We played again the North Course / OldCourse / Master Course. This was back in a very good condition. In a few days the tournament of the LET Access Tour starts. The staff - Reception, Greenkeeper and restaurant are very friendly. Too bad that the game was very very slow, it took us more than 4 1/2 hours. It had too many very slow groups in the square. Good food in the rest. But we compensated. Merci and up in the next year.

In June 2014, we played this place. The course has us very well fallen. We played the Master Course and enjoyed every hole. The flat layout leads across meadows with small lakes, through woodlands, only the halfway-house is increased, but also the two holes there are really nice. The greens are undulating, fast and in good condition. Too bad the sand bunkers are not maintained daily as in many places in Sweden. The reception was very friendly. If adding that it has a large, nice driving range. Merci! We'll be back.
