The old course is a well balanced park course. The new course (the Royal course) is a park course and a little bit more hilly.
BTW, it is named Royal since king Carl XII passed by from warring Europe on his way from Turkey to Stockholm, way back in time, and buried his dog here:) (It is true)
Nice friendly club with a very good restaurant.
The Old course is a very good course for competition, every year it hosts the European handicap tour, meaning real handicap e.g. one leg, wheelchair etc.
Everyone there will beat my score, they are heros.
So, if you are in for a good course, nice people, nature, good dining, don't hesitate.

We played the old course on a beautiful spring day. It was noticeable that the two courses are partly quite intertwined and cross each other. Both courses were very well attended. The holes of the old course are partly relatively similar. The highlight is by far the last 4 holes. The condition was so early in the year in order. Only the greens had suffered significantly over the winter. The decisive factor for our 4 stars was the restaurant in which a sensationally good lunch was offered.

There are 2 Course are both very nice. The condition was TOP and the greens are normal quickly. The greater challenge is the wind of here is doing well often. Just the fairways on the New Course are playing along the water great but difficult. (Augusta Greetings from or inspired) The Old Coures is shorter but no less challenging, with 480 crowns all this is great. For lovers of the beautiful architecture of the clubhouse combines old and new, just very good.
Top ambiance! I can only recommend one round. I will come back. ... A nice game!
