The 18-hole course of Blauer Fasan Golf is embedded in a typical East Frisian moorland. Numerous ponds, ditches, and wet biotopes make the course more difficult; the greens are often situated on clearings and thus call for a courageous and precise game. A dream in East Frisia

We played the 27 holes yesterday and didn't think what a golf course pearl awaits us here in East Friesland. Fantastic facility with great old trees, very well-kept fairways and greens and very varied courses. Lanes 1-18 are very similar in design and we liked them best. Golf like in Sanssouci Park. The 4th hole should be emphasized: We felt a little like the Signature Hole in Augusta. The holes 19-27 were also beautifully laid out, but to our taste too monotonous (almost exclusively very long par 4 and par 5). But if you like that, you will find it great.
All members, the greenkeepers and the reception in the club secretariat were very friendly and helpful.
Price-performance ratio simply top: From October 15th you pay only 36 € on weekdays, with an Albrecht voucher of 20% even less than 30 € for 27 holes!
Then a pot of tea and a crumble cake in the wonderful restaurant Blauer Fasan.
You have to play this course if you are traveling in the northwest.
One point of criticism: the pictures here on Albrecht do not even begin to reflect the beauty of the square.

We played all courses at the weekend. As noted earlier, the greens on 1-18 are quite slow, in contrast to the 19-27 greens. We liked the place Friesenwelle (19-27) the best.

I played all 27 lanes today - it's worth it. If the first 18 are interesting to play, they will be topped from holes 19 to 27. These are really trickie. Plant was in top condition, for my taste the greens but too slow. Should definitely play.
