I played holes B and C. The round consisted of wooded holes and fairly open ones. I found the wooded holes beautiful. The open holes, in contrast, were rather mundane. Wide fairways and clutter to the left and right, which I didn't find aesthetically pleasing. The overall condition of the course was good. The greens were of average speed for German standards. The raked bunkers and repaired pitch marks were surprising. Only two par-3 tee boxes were slightly damaged, but these had been repaired with sand and grass seed. Overall, a recommendable course.

Played on 10/25/2021. The flat 27-hole course (cart not required) with an additional 9-hole short course is located approx. 50 km from downtown Berlin, south of Berlin in Brandenburg within easy reach of BER Airport (no aircraft noise). The facility can be reached quickly via the A13. By the way, you can't see the Motzener See. In principle, the facility is in peace and nature, only a few lanes on the A loop can be heard the motorway. Of the 27 holes, some holes of each of the 3 loops go beautifully through forest (parkland feeling) with tall, ingrown trees, while the rest of the holes are very open (resort golf). The variety is what makes it so attractive. There are some well-placed bunkers and one or two water hazards that come into play. The last two greens of the A loop are more or less island greens, just like the first green of the C loop (PAR 3). On C, the 9th hole is another nice highlight. There are enough challenges for good golfers, but even high HC should at least be able to cope with the front tees. Depending on the combination, the course plays as PAR 73 or even as PAR 74. Now in autumn the semi-rough was very dense and with warped balls it is difficult to find your ball again, so you better stay on the fairway. The maintenance condition was okay according to the season. The greens were good, fast and loyal except for a few pitch marks that were left here and there (seems to be a topic in the club, at least a discussion between the greenkeepers and members that I overheard). The game on a cold but sunny Monday morning was brisk, but as a single player I was able to play through without running aground. You need a start time, which guests can also book via the homepage. There you can see that games are a little more relaxed in the afternoons. The course combination for 18 holes probably changes daily. The standard green fee of € 75 on weekdays is at the limit. At the weekend, € 95 is definitely too much. You can play for € 65 on Mondays. Those who come often can buy a ten-card. The employee in the secretariat of the modern clubhouse with restaurant (not used) and a beautiful terrace was nice and very friendly and explained everything to me as a guest. Toilets are also available on the square during the round. I can safely recommend a round in Motzen.
