Characteristics
The course was created, using the natural contours of a hilltop location. It is full of variety and is laid out over fine ‘golfing country’. Springy downland turf over shallow soil and limestone ensures rapid draining. The greens present a special challenge being relatively small and containing hidden, and some not so hidden, borrows.
