Located in the stunning Aulanko nature reserve near Hämeenlinna, Aulanko Golf offers a unique blend of history and modern design. The club features two distinct courses set within a designated national landscape. The 18-hole „Eversti“ course, designed by Lassi Pekka Tilander, is a scenic masterpiece overlooked by the famous Aulanko observation tower. It winds through varied terrain, requiring strategic approach shots. In contrast, the 9-hole „Hugo“ course offers a journey into the past. Designed by Fred Smith, it is Finland’s oldest course still in its original form, meandering along the Vanajavesi shoreline beneath ancient oaks. The atmosphere is steeped in the legacy of Colonel Hugo Standertskjöld, with two clubhouses completing the experience.
