Located in the historic surroundings of Nes Verk, the Arendal & Omegn Golf Club offers a golfing experience steeped in both nature and tradition. Completed in 1994 through significant community effort, the facility—often called Nes Verk Golfpark—features a high-standard 18-hole championship course. The layout is defined by its undulating terrain, demanding precise iron play and thoughtful course management. Beyond the main challenge, visitors find a well-maintained 9-hole Pay & Play course suitable for all skill levels. The club sits adjacent to the Næs Ironworks Museum, adding cultural heritage to the visit. Bordered by hiking trails and the salmon-rich Storelva river, the setting provides a tranquil escape, supported by excellent practice facilities and a welcoming clubhouse.
