The 5-star Royal Hideaway Corales Villas is the latest project from Barcelo's luxury Royal Hideaway group. It was designed by the renowned architect Leonardo Omar and offers a unique and privileged location directly on the Costa Adeje golf course and fantastic views of the Atlantic all the way across to La Gomera. The opening is planned for autumn 2024. The hotel will have 139 accommodation units, divided into 61 suites and villas with up to three bedrooms and private pool, 39 junior suites with swim-up pool (+18 years) and 39 junior suites with sea view (+18 years). All rooms are decorated in light colors and are extremely comfortably furnished, e.g. with Illy coffee machine and exclusive Guerlain amenities. Other facilities include two à la carte restaurants, a cocktail bar, a pool bar, a kids and teens club and a wellness area with fitness center.

Tenerife and Corales – I'd love to come back again!

1. Corales Villas: A new hotel that only opened in March 2025, so everything is new and fresh. The suites offer ample space and direct sea views. The complex is compact with short distances between everything. The hotel shuttle to Caleta ends at 8:40 pm, but a taxi back costs only €6.15. Valet parking with underground parking is recommended, as there is no parking available on the street in front of the complex, and parking in the golfers' car park opposite, belonging to the Adeje Golf Club (For Golfers Only), is not recommended.
The breakfast buffet is extensive and the egg dish menu is excellent.
On the day of our arrival, we had reserved a table at the Bonfire Steakhouse for the evening (booking in advance is essential). Based on the description and reviews, we had high expectations of getting the best steaks in town – unfortunately, this was not the case. All three of our Madurado rump steaks were tough and almost impossible to cut or chew. As an apology, we were offered a cognac as a digestif. The two small carabinero prawns as an appetizer were also a bit overpriced at €55.
My tip for excellent food with attentive service and a very nice atmosphere is the Restaurant Jardin, which is only 50m away from the hotel.
In Caleta there are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the other Corales Beach Hotel (we stayed there two years ago and it also has a great design). We recommend Rosso Sul Mare, which has friendly service and a good food and wine list.
2. Abama Golf: A very beautiful course where, given the €250 green fee including a buggy, one expects an exceptional round. Unfortunately, they skimped on the starter and marshal, who should ensure a smooth flow of play. Three tee times ahead of us were occupied by an English group, and before us, six people in two buggies were playing with four bags! Consequently, we had to wait at every tee, and our paid 18-hole round turned into a twilight until the 14th hole. Very annoying – the caddymaster just shrugged, and at reception, they said that groups are always a problem – they do what they want! This simply shouldn't happen at a top-class course with this level of prestige and green fee.
3. Buonavista Golf: A beautiful course right on the Atlantic Ocean with great views and breakwaters.
The approach via the TF-436 (Masca) is spectacular! A challenging mountain pass road with constant curves and narrow sections. Not for inexperienced drivers or those with weak nerves – they should take the TF-42 (Icod). There were starters and marshals there looking after the guests.
4. Adeje Golf: A very beautiful course with greens that partially merge with the sea. Although located next to the Corales Villas, we were unable to get a tee time in September – completely booked. We then managed to get a twilight slot at 3:40 pm, which was enough for 9 holes. So be sure to book tee times well in advance (at all courses).
With a flight time of only 4-5 hours, it's also a great destination for a long weekend if you want some sun and warm temperatures in autumn/winter.
This was our 7th trip with Albrecht and the 8th is already booked. As usual, everything was perfectly planned and prepared.

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. How can I pay for my trip?
The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.
By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.
How can I redeem my discount code?
You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
