Characteristics
Set in beautiful Dorset countryside on the eastern edge of town on the main A30, Yeovil Golf Club offers spectacular views with the superb 18 Hole Old Course and the 9 Hole Newton Golf Courses. Both courses are superbly presented and provide a golfing challenge and individual character. For those not so proficient the courses do nothing to discourage the beginner.

Clubhouse trading hours align with sunset, varying with business needs. The bar closes approximately 30 minutes after the IG start sheet sunset, and the kitchen closes one hour before the bar.

Junior group sessions ('Yeovil Youngsters') are held every Sunday for ages 5-12, costing £7 per session. Adult beginner group lessons are offered in 3-week series for £30, with equipment provided. School holiday camps are also available during summer.
