Resting in the natural bowl of the South Downs, Willingdon Golf Club presents a historic layout originally founded in 1898. The course owes its distinctive character to a 1925 redesign by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, the legendary architect of Augusta National. Famous for its chalk-based drainage, this downland course allows for superb year-round playing conditions. The true defense of the course lies in MacKenzie’s signature two-tier greens, demanding strategic approach play. Spectacular views and a friendly clubhouse complete this traditional Sussex golfing experience.
