Characteristics
Established in 1988 by the Smith family, Whitehill Golf Course offers a distinctive rural experience in the Hertfordshire countryside near Ware. Constructed on former farmland, the course respects the natural contours of the land, resulting in an undulating layout framed by mature trees. Based on an original design by Reg Plumbridge, the Par 72 course spans over 6,800 yards and tests golfers with carefully positioned ponds and bunkers. Renowned for its exceptional drainage, the fairways and greens remain firm and playable almost every day of the year, making it a reliable destination in all seasons. The atmosphere is notably peaceful, dominated by wildlife sounds, while the clubhouse provides a warm, friendly environment for visitors and members alike.
