Founded in 1899, East Herts Golf Club is situated within the historic Hamels Park Estate. Although the club moved to this location in 1974, the parkland course is defined by majestic trees planted in the 18th century, offering a mature and scenic setting. The Par 71 layout is pleasant to walk with short transitions between greens and tees, yet demands precision from the tee to avoid the timber. A highlight of the experience is the clubhouse balcony, which offers a commanding view of the Par 3 18th green—a perfect spot for post-round relaxation against the backdrop of the stately Hamels Mansion.
