Founded in 1893, Wells Golf Club is situated on the outskirts of the historic City of Wells, nestled within the stunning Mendip Hills. This 18-hole parkland course offers a unique layout designed on two levels: holes 2 through 11 circle the hills offering panoramic views, while the valley holes require accurate drives to navigate ditches and undulations. A highlight is the 12th hole, played from an elevated tee to a double green directly in front of the clubhouse. Known for its friendly atmosphere, the club features extensive practice facilities and a modern clubhouse with balconies overlooking the 18th green.

Nice parkland course layout with quick greens close to the city of Wells. Maintenance level is good. Great value! Good combination is to visit the city of Wells and play a twilight-round in the afternoon.
