Small golf course in the spa park – currently in poor condition and with uncertain future

A 9-hole park course on the edge of the spa island in the famous Piešťany spa. Golf is said to have been played here more than 100 years ago, but the current course was built about 20 years ago.
It has a relatively simple layout, is fairly short, and has a minimum of hazards, but its park-like character makes it quite interesting. The practice areas are pretty small, and the complex includes a clubhouse with a restaurant and accommodation.
The resort operated quite well for a long time, but it is currently in trouble. The manager had to quit; the course is operating in a provisional mode, maintenance has been insufficient this year, and the quality of the areas has deteriorated. Footgolf is also available here, but it is not a good combination on a small course. I believe that things will improve – this place has its own "genius loci," which would be a shame to lose.

Really great place to enjoy romantic golf and spa holidays with your partner. Piestany are well known spa city and this golf club is directly on the spa island. Game is challenging and attractive thanks to the fact that you play in the park with old and high trees and you need to adjust your game to it (shorter and lower is many times better). There is good clubhouse where you can have a tasty lunch. If you prefer accommodation in private and not in big spa hotels, club has available few newly renovated rooms for guests too.

Rather short holes in the park, but they are not so easy to play because of Outpfosten and a plethora of trees. Long hitters are wrong here. If it says the tree God well, landing a lot of balls in the GIR, otherwise it may take longer to Green. There is even a par 5 here. The atmosphere is very good, the food is good. So when you are there, then play necessarily.
