Friendly place

I went on business trip to the region so I took chance to play this course. I will say right away that its difficult to find it without navigation. No good orientation sign to find the place. Corse itself nice place on the hill with nice views. Since its rather small course, it means everzthing is around the corner, parking and driving next to clubhouse, which is a big log house and it kind of fits in area architecture. Checking was fast and staff very friendly, felt welcome. And most importantly they sold me 1 logo ball and not 3 like at some courses.
So lets play now. Opening hole is easy par 4 probably the less interesting one. After it it become more challenging and interesting. Each hole is mostly surrounded by trees which is perfect to keep your focus on shot. Course was in so so condition for this time of the year and drought what is this season. Greens were were Ok could be a bit faster, but they roll nicely and no bad spots. Fairways are wide there no problem to be on it, however due the dry season the roughs a zero danger. What I did not like orientation on course, not sure why signs NEXT TEE are behind the green and not in front more visible. I would have problem to choose a signature hole, would probably say hole n. 7, but not sure. I liked front nine better than back nine. Overall its really nice course with affordable green fee.

A course that bears its name... Country golf course

One of the worst 18-holes golf in CZ...

Fairways made of stones, rude staff, high fees

If you are traveling in the area, you should rather go playing in Austerlitz (Slavkov) or Kaskada (Brno).

Korenec - nice views, pity they built a golf course

On a quick visit to the Czech Republic, I decided to play 3 courses in the Brno region. I found two of these courses, Kaskada and Austerlitz, very interesting, of good quality and service. The 3rd course I played was Korenec. After a never-ending drive I was very disappointed with the arrogant manager, terrible layout of the course (designed by a complete amateur with awful routing and badly built tees, fairways and greens). The overall condition of the course was a disgrace and the green fee charged (Eur60) was a rip-off... And the awful manager!!! I will not be returning!!!
