I receive invitation to play tournament there, so I took the opportunity since I did not play the course for last 10years. Its a bit difficult to reach the course these days since the construction in the city. Austerlitz offer nice accomodation directly at course, so very covenient. Parking lot is not big, but there is another one next to the driving range, which by the way is quite a big and there is lot of opportunity to practice. Staff there is very friendly and pleasant to talk. Now to the course, its quite hilly links course, where clubhouse is located on one of the hills. Opening hole is easy par 5 with downhill shot, water is easy to clear. You can try to reach green in 2. As it is links course it means not much trees and therfore you can hit it really hard. Roughs were not so thick and easy to find balls. On hole 4 starts the climbing adventure. Not sure if I like those kind of shots but I played well there. I remember few holes but design is not my cup of tea :D. Signature hole with great view is par 3 hole number 12. You will see the surrounding and have great look down on the castle. Finishing on 18th hole uphill next to clubhouse. Catering was very tasty and refreshment with beer after game even better. Quality of the course was good, greens were rolling quite fast and true lines. Fairways just average. The worst part were the showers, they need really some upgrade. I can recommend the course if you like no trees courses.
