Skive Golfklub presents a fascinating duality in its course design, located near the picturesque Limfjord. The layout combines a classic parkland feel on the front nine, where mature trees frame the fairways, with a more open, modern section accessed via a tunnel. On these elevated holes, golfers encounter the testing West wind and scenic views of the fjord. The 18-hole loop features wide fairways and strategic water hazards, including streams and a fountain-adorned lake on the closing hole. The terrain is gently undulating rather than steep, ensuring a pleasant walk. The clubhouse serves as a social hub, where the terrace overlooks the 1st and 18th holes—perfect for enjoying a meal or a local brew after the game.

The lanes run next to planted groups of trees, pulled on a string, just before halfway through an underpass to the other side of the street, here it gets a bit more varied. The course is not one of the best, but it has its charm and is in good condition, a very friendly secretariat and range balls for free, fair green fees - all together a nice day of golf.
