Founded in 1891, the course is steeped in history, with the current 18-hole layout dating back to 1898. A unique feature is the presence of World War II pillboxes and gun emplacements near the fairways. The clubhouse, built in 1912, retains its original charm with historical artifacts, providing a warm atmosphere. Real old golf!

Spectacularly situated on the cliffs, Sheringham Golf Course not only offers breathtaking views of the sea and cliffs, but also impresses with its classic English links design! About 10km from the Royal Cromer Course, I would put the Sheringham Course ahead by a lob wedge length :-)!!!
Ps.: maybe it was also due to the ancient steam train that was blowing heavily, pulling its 15 wagons over the old tracks right next to the links course!
