Better not...
1.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 26, 2022
Played in September 2022 before departure due to the close proximity to the airport.
The very arrival was a shock as we stood in front of the most run-down clubhouse I have ever seen on a golf course.
The course itself features beautiful mature trees; but the tracks are very similar, not very varied and therefore monotonous. The fairways hadn't been mowed in days; the bunkers are not filled with sand but with earth and stones.
Air traffic often gives you the feeling of standing directly on the runway.
The experience was even topped when we asked the gentleman from reception for towels after the round and he referred us to the bar ( "hopefully"). At the bar we were told that you should bring your own...☹
To demand the stately green fee of 100 euros for this defies description.

Age parkland course
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 24, 2015
The Shannon GC is an old, ingrown parkland course which leads on the 17 at the Shannon Estuary River!
If you like we landed at Shannon Airport, enjoy a round at the only 1km distant place, more than just offers!
