Seahouses Golf Club offers a traditional yet spectacular golfing experience on the Northumberland coast. Founded in 1913 and expanded to 18 holes in 1976, this course is renowned for possessing two of the most prestigious par-three holes in the north of England. The 10th hole, the signature challenge, demands a precise tee shot entirely over water, while the 15th plays dramatically over cliffs with stunning coastal views. The layout often shares fairways in a classic style, and the sea breeze adds a strategic layer to every round. Uniquely, the club is very dog-friendly, welcoming pets on the course. After play, the clubhouse restaurant, 'The Real Taste of Northumberland', serves excellent local cuisine.

We were very lucky with the weather. the middle of August and sun, sun, sun. Reduction was by 15 clock, after four and a half hours I was back "inside". Import would have been possible on the driving range, but when we had called and asked for this, it commanded that they had no DR.. So the first holes were needed to play along again.
The first two holes to play in this challenging links course ending on the lake side. Then it goes for six long - all the way to 400 meters - and unspectacular holes on the other side of the street. While you play shortly us a stone bridge on a river over, but I have these holes rather reminiscent of Schleswig-Holstein.
But what really great but it will be from the tenth hole. It is not a 130 meters long and goes through a small gorge with a river (?). After you play a few long holes and away from the sea with many upgrades. Hole 15 is then absolutely amazing. About a hundred meters of steep slope to steep slope of a rocky coast, which is überspühlt the sea.
The green fee for 18 holes and fair in the ale at hole 19 was the kröhnende completion of this 100 year-old links course. I wish you a nice game.
