Characteristics
Situated on the prestigious North Leeds sandbelt, Sand Moor Golf Club offers an authentic heathland experience overlooking the Eccup Reservoir. The course holds special historical significance as an original 1926 design by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, who also served on the club’s first Green Committee. Characterized by its rolling terrain and strategic bunkering, the layout features four distinct Par 3s. Recent renovations by Ken Moodie have modernized the test while preserving its classic character.
