Founded in 1888, the Royal Epping Forest Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience just eleven miles from the City of London. Set within the ancient woodlands of Epping Forest on medieval hunting grounds once used by Henry VIII, the course combines history with natural beauty. The layout consists of two loops that rise and fall across Chingford Plain, featuring tight, tree-lined fairways and undulating terrain. Due to strict conservation laws, the course retains a rugged, authentic character free from artificial features. A welcoming clubhouse overlooking the finishing hole completes the visit.
