Situated in the rolling wooded hills above the Wye Valley, Ross on Wye Golf Club offers a quintessential English woodland golf experience. Designed by C.K. Cotton in 1960, the course winds through mature oak trees, demanding precision and strategy rather than brute strength. Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett described the layout as 'one of a kind' for its emphasis on finesse. The course remains largely untouched since its inception. After the round, the Oak View Restaurant provides a relaxing setting with local Herefordshire produce and views over the final green.
