Best greens I played in ireland

Played this course two years ago & it was good then but they have made some beautiful changes to make a good course even better.
The greeting in the pro shop was friendly & warm with good laughter the way it should be at all clubs but unfortunately this does not happen.
The course is in amazing condition with the best greens of any course I have played during my trip to Ireland.
It looks like the Ring of Kerry is starting to transform itself to another lever so exciting times lay ahead.
All in all a great golfing challenge coupled with unrivalled views & a superb restaurant for a meal afterwards.

Unsatisfactory ️

In October 2021 we reserved 1 flight for 4 people for June 2022 A total of 500 euros was charged directly ️
We are very disappointed with the condition of the place.
Also, was the restaurant closed to golfers?
We have played five other golf courses in the last few days, all were in top condition and the green fees were much cheaper.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Ring of Kerry Golf Club.
Apparently, the necessary funds to maintain the place are missing.

Can you play - but you do not have to

After 3 already played in Ireland golf courses, we landed on the 4th day by chance at the Ring of Kerry golf course. Compared to the already played courses this golf course was three times as expensive with 75 €. I can say that the cheaper seats were in no way inferior to the expensive ones. In some cases, even the lower-priced ones have been much better off in terms of the condition of bunkers, bunker edges, tees and greens. After the really sporty challenging played round we wanted to take a shower. No problem - as have even got towels from the shop - but unfortunately they have forgotten to tell us that there is no hot water. Something does not work if you pay 75 € for a round. Surely the view is priceless and very impressive - but we will, when we come back, just sit on the terrace, have a coffee and enjoy the view in peace. The gastro is really recommendable. trinAusgenießen.

Sporty challenging course with stunning views

Very nice, well-kept top place with sophisticated, long strips and lightning-fast, large greens. Those who prefer a cozy, should take a kart. Definitely after the round in the clubhouse eating a burger, and the great views you have earned it.

Athletic course

Very athletic course, the calls for the golfing prowess genuine. Precission and feel are in demand. The greens are undulating and very fast. A practice round is therefore called for. Spectacular scenery and very friendly staff. Not for beginners. It goes up and down, the physical strain is therefore significantly greater than at other places.

Sporty and hard but fantastic scenery

Have virtually played the course in May alone. Greens in top condition. Green fees reasonable. Many balls in the lost obstacles could not be seen from the tee off. Partial length assessment very difficult in windy conditions but again we would play on the pitch. Worth it fully.

Challenging - great views

Actually, everything has been said by the Vorberichterstatter. An incredible Ireland-views, a pleasurable passage uphill and down in nature. It was - at least within the week - hardly anything on this system going. Impressive: a us overtaking space experts - if you know where you have to go, you do not have to stop looking so much. Have in the rest of the week together not as many golf balls as lost on this day. Partly simply 'off' or simply beaten on the web also in strong differences in height ('m just flat countries and so not used). The lightning fast greens selenium as a local Lore - meanwhile been even defused. I ask myself how the were before. Since you can get into Schweifeln with it ever...
For the wealthy, washed bunkers it is recommended to partially better place to protect the material. Make on the court because the vulnerability. Well maintained they were sometimes extremely ambitious. Pity.
We had pre-book at absolutely no problems in the end, everything was perfect and the final beer with delicious sandwiches tasted like the effort twice as good on the viewing deck.

Wonderful view, severe space

We (handicap 24) have played the Ring of Kerry Golf Course yesterday. As already mentioned by the Vorkommentatoren it goes up and down, but a cart is not absolutely necessary - trollies do it well. The place is hard, balls are then often affect the safe but not to be found. So plug in a lot of balls precaution. Therefore the view of the bay, however, is downright entlohnend!
All in all, we really liked the place. Unfortunately, the Club House was after 20 clock to already, so we could not enjoy our view over the square.
The only drawback: The reception gave us 60 euros greenfee taken on a weekday, what's the price for the weekend.

Beautiful panorama

Played mid-June 2013. Little going on. Very hilly course. Sloping fairways. No place for beginners because men discount partly 150m carry. Nevertheless, beautiful grounds and views. No driving range available. One big minus point. The bunkers. Not playable.

Spectacular views and tricky course

There is probably no golf club in Ireland and perhaps not even the world, with a spectacular view from the clubhouse. The views of Kenmare Bay and the Peninsula Baera, as with Rainbow, none. The place has the hilly location so many quirks and confusing golf courses. A daily green fee with a second round or a second visit within the stay would be useful. But not easy to play it. Kept in a great condition Buggies facilitate the game immensely on this system. But the scenic location with spectacular views of the many paths of the sea and the surrounding countryside, will hold the pain of many a lost ball in bounds.

Great panorama

The brevity of the place belies something. The physical challenge is already considerably by the very hilly terrain. Beginners lose many balls. From the clubhouse terrace has a great view of the rugged landscape with plenty of water in warm weather.
