Just Great

This is a wonderfull layout, just a great Golf Course. The Caddies are helpfull and very friendly. The course is not easy to play, especially if the wind is to heavy. Expensive green fee, but once in a life time…..

Potential exists

We played the course for two on November 1st, 2022.
As previously mentioned, the tracks are spectacular, as they often run along the sea.
The fareways, green and bunker were also perfect that day.
But for 5* everything has to be right from my point of view. Then no jackhammer may run directly next to 4 tees. And that could last even longer with the construction activity around the plant.
The caddy that we were assigned that day should also not go unmentioned: could hardly speak English, only gave tips on the green. Thanks to technical aids, I don't need a caddy to keep the distance to the flag. And to the initial questions whether he z. B. recommend 1 or 2 clubs longer in a headwind, he just shrugged his shoulders. He gave my wife no information at all, except on the green. By the time we realized we were better off ignoring him, we were already 9 holes behind us. We were used to something better from Casa de Campo (Dye Fore / the Links / Teeth of the Dog) and Corales when it came to caddy!

Dream Place

Played the course on August 14th, 2022 and it was a first-class experience.
Sensational course layout, top care and a super caddy.
Friendliest reception in the clubhouse and on the driving range. Teas, drinks and caddy included. All 18 holes always somehow by the sea or with a sea view. The most beautiful place I've played in my golf career. Absolutely worth the high green fee.

Worth seeing but overrated

I played Punta Espada on December 26th, 2021 in bright sunshine and perfect temperatures. Although the fairways are in top condition and the greens are in fantastic condition, the golfing experience is somewhat clouded by various construction activities around the course and the condition of the service facilities (e.g. toilets). The question then arises whether 295 USD green fees are justified.
The obligatory caddy makes perfect sense on this course, as the super-fast greens are a real challenge and this assistance is almost indispensable.
If you are in the area you should definitely play the course once, I honestly cannot understand the often cited review of Golfweek ( "The most beautiful place in the Caribbean") given the golfing conditions (clubhouse etc.).

Dream place 6 stars

After about 10 years back in Punta Espada, what a dream. Although construction activity and house building have increased around the square, it has not harmed the square.
The layout of the fairways is a dream, the course maintenance ingenious, the holes by the sea fantastic, a must for golfers to play this course.
Carpet fairways, large undulating and fast greens, tricky fairways, perfect course maintenance - what more could golfers want!
The stone formations at the edge of the fairways round off the picture perfectly.
It is simply impossible to highlight fairways, as all holes make a great overall picture.
Candy and Caddymaster very friendly and professional.

Five stars plus

I honestly do not know which golf course you have to give 5 *, if not this! The place is a dream from AZ, the location, the layout, the quality, everything just sensational! Good, the driving range is a bit far away and the green fee very expensive, but for any ambitious golfer still a must!
For me definitely one of the most beautiful places in the world!

Ok

It is a beautiful place by the sea, for # 1 in the Caribbean and for the proud green fee of US $ 398.00, however, the course maintenance leaves a lot to be desired... the clubhouse is unkempt and has zero charm, all this is just too "a golf course"

PGA Feeling

We were told that the US has made Senior Tour here several times Station. And the gentlemen know why they wanted to play there. The place is a dream. Reception, starters and mandatory caddy in a professional and friendly at the same time.

From the first hole away, there is indeed to fight, but you will be rewarded with magnificent views. The second hole should unbedignt go for a photo for the Champions tea. The course is difficult, but the holes along the sea are phenomenal. The care is absolutely top.

Although the place is a bit more expensive, but when you have to play golf fan there easily.

December 2015

We played the course, but for 399 $, which is pretty proud. In the afternoon, it is a few dollars cheaper. Definitely a dream place, fairways as greens, caddy and cart are then included.
Likewise, the transfer from the hotel, which worked out fantastic.
Many holes with sea views, but we were not particularly wide strikes succeeded the wind has been quite curbed.

Unique

An Ocean Course at its best. Top manicured fairways and greens hard. Best place in the Caribbean. He should in the off-season and play in the afternoon, then the green fee is bearable (150 USD incl. Cart and caddy) and you are almost alone on the court. Provides more holes than the sea and La Cana and Corales has significantly nicer inland holes as Teeth of the Dog. A dream and can only be recommended.

Exceptional Ocean Course

An expensive but unique golfing experience! A hole is more beautiful than the other, also a very varied course.
Simply a must for golf lovers if you're already in the Caribbean.

Super Site

It's been a couple of more years than I have played with my friends from Gmunden this place, but the memory still lives - a truly fantastic location near the sea.
