Lots of potential

Course played on 25.4.2024 Public course for currently $ 129.-
I would divide it into two parts: Holes 1-9 are a typical resort course with wide open fairways, easy to play and few hazards.
Holes 10-18 are more like the left, with various elevations to be conquered and several valleys to cross. In my opinion, hole 16 is a highlight: a short par 3 about 20 down: very impressive.
Why the bad rating? The course is very poorly maintained, all bunkers are unplayable and have not been maintained for months. Greens: recently erected and therefore very bumpy and slow. Fairways: barely adequate, hardly distinguishable from the rest of the courses. Personally, I think it is too expensive for Hawaii in this condition!
