Characteristics
The fairways of this diversified course were laid out in a former orchard and on open terrain. The skillful arrangement of water hazards and sand traps make it harder to reach the score and provide a challenge even for prominent golfers. What is worth mentioning in this context is the 9th hole, a Par-3 played over a pond at through a clearing of trees, which requires a precise approach.

The bunkers are in a devastating condition. Lawn grows deep into the bunkers. Tufts of grass in the middle of the bunkers. Apparently they haven't been raked with machines by greenkeeping for a long time. No more neatly cut bunker edges. Sometimes you no longer know whether you are still in the bunker or already outside.
I've never seen the place like this in recent years.
This also applies to the bunkers in the area of the practice facilities.
Too bad actually.
The green fee is currently disproportionate to the condition of the course
On the positive side, the greens are actually neat and fast. However, the fact that some people cannot lift their feet and leave traces of the spikes in the green without removing them is due to the players.

We were playing here in June and found the place very good and varied. Interesting holes, such as hole 3, hole 9 or hole 11. All in very good condition. The secretariat extremely friendly! You can park your mobile home on a large meadow near the clubhouse and use the sanitary facilities (very clean). Unfortunately, only cash payment is possible. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff very friendly. We were very satisfied. With a power connection and payment by EC card I would have given 5 stars

I used to play here a lot when I was a beginner and have been here a number of times over the past few years. Reachable from Berlin Xberg in 1 hour.
The practice facilities are okay, there is a pitching green next to the driving range, a chipping green with bunkers, right next to it is the Pay&Play 6-hole short course. In addition, a larger putting green behind the green of the 18 (or 9).
The 18-hole course is beautiful, leads right at the beginning between tall trees on the left and apple trees on the right and starts off quite relaxed with a par 5. The holes are quite open and flat and don't offer any nasty surprises. Water comes into play for the first time on holes 6 and 7 - hole 9 (par 3) then goes right over the pond. Lanes 10 and 11 are more demanding lanes, 10 gets narrower the longer the tee and lane 11 goes over the water 3 times and teaches me on the early days how to play strategically so as not to lose several balls and the keep score halfway together.
From the 12th you go to the back of the course, in front of green 14 there is water again, which then plays a role again on holes 17 and 18.
Overall, I find the course very fair today, all HCP classes find good conditions here. And the condition in August 2022 (where there is a lot of scorched earth elsewhere) was just TOP.
A very nice secretariat and a good gastro with a beautiful garden complete the quite successful offer.
And together with the 2for1 voucher, this is a real bargain that shouldn't be missed!
