Characteristics
Pine Cliffs was built in a stone pine grove on impressive cliffs above beautiful, sandy beaches, which are so typical for the Algarve. With nine holes, of which none is very long (only two holes are longer than 360 m) it still poses an interesting challenge. The jewel is par 3, which takes course over te Champion-Tee over a canyonand calls for a 205 m long and exact drive over the bay.

Nice 9-hole course

We played this course on September 17,2026. It was a nice warm-up round with friendly playing partners. The course was in good condition despite the dry weather and heavy use. The bunkers, however, could use better maintenance – especially the 9th (more sand and chipped edges). The same applies to the tee boxes; they could be improved. The views were breathtaking in places (5th and 6th), and the 6th (Devil's Parlour) with its tee shot over the gorge was particularly enjoyable. The food and drink were adequate.

Yes, the course is short, but you have to be able to play that. The fairway with the view of the Atlantic is very beautiful. The highlight is of course the tee shot over the gorge.
