On our Ireland golf tour, we stopped at the Slieve Russell Golf & Country Club as our third stop and played the 18-hole championship course.
We thoroughly enjoyed this place with its more than one signature home, and not just because the weather was sunny.
Varied and long - but not too difficult for (us as) high handicappers and still exciting for low handicappers if you want to or can play aggressively.
Especially on Back 9 there is plenty of water and beautiful views of it.
Although it was busy on a Saturday due to the bank holiday, the atmosphere among the staff and golfers was very relaxed and friendly.

The really well-maintained course also offers some visually beautiful holes. You can choose your tee depending on the length. Simply book 18 holes at great prices via the booking portal on the website.
A buggy is definitely recommended, it makes golfing much more relaxed! On the way from Dublin to Sligo or Donegal you should play Slieve Russell!
