Silves is a quiet spot of land in the region Algarve, but its golf course is anything but a walk in the park. Silves Golf has a nice selection of par 3 holes, and the four par 5 holes are exceptional. Strategic playing determines the outcome of the game. Silves induces the golfers to play riskily, but it also rewards the courageous. This merciless test of precision challenges players of all handicaps. Played the course on January 11,2024. Since the attached hotel was closed, it was very quiet on the pitch, which increased the enthusiasm for the game. The course was in good condition, the fairways were almost perfect, with no brown spots. The fast greens weren't all great, but overall they were good to play on. The course has a very scenic location and some holes (hole 5) offer spectacular tee shots. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is, however, one drawback: the course does not have a driving range. Nevertheless: recommended course.
