Characteristics
Both courses, Vale da Pinta and Quinta do Gramacho are situated in the vicinity of Carvoeiro in a very scenic location. Vale da Pinta is a championship-course, which despite of the high standard can be enjoyed by players of different strengths. The Gramacho Course is with its 27 greens unique on the European continent and one of the few in the whole world with 18 teens, 27 greend and only 18 fairways.

Thought the Gramacho course was very challenging which made it even better thanit looked stunning views very well kept for the beginning of January, all helped by a teriffic hole in one on the Tenth hole, 147 yards stepped up 7 iron in hand played to slight slope at right of green which run onto the green and fell in the hole amazing.

Pinta course played on March 20th, 2023. Fareways in good condition, very bumpy green, unkempt bunker.
Basically, it is an interesting and varied course. We (2 people) found it strange that the starter let the flight partners assigned to us start separately because they belonged to a group in front of them, and that with full capacity utilization of the space. The marshal then came by twice and shrugged his shoulders and stated that things weren't going very well (5.5 hours for the round)
