Too cool: that's the golf course. A beautiful beast, currently in perfect condition, challenging, varied, strategic, overflowing with well-placed bunkers, and therefore mercilessly punishing bad shots or decisions.
This world: these are golfers of all skill levels who stand at 9-minute intervals across the course. I've played it for the second time, and for the second time, with Cart, it took well over 5 hours. At every, really every tee, waiting is announced.
Marshals tend not to be able to solve the problem; most golfers really make an effort to play the course quickly. It just doesn't work.
If anything would help, it would be real handicap controls (unpopular), a starter that sends every golfer to a suitable tee color (also unpopular if the testosterone-bursting mid-thirties should then try from blue), or: accept that it can take a long time and still enjoy it as much as possible.
I chose the latter and had a great round (both in terms of mood and score). I still have to deduct a star for the length of the game.

We played years ago and were really looking forward to it and are very disappointed. Apparently, the previous speakers have not yet played top positions. Still, I'll start with the positive. The fairways and greens are well maintained, but everything else is more than neglected, the paths are bad, slippery and extremely long, dangerous in some places. The screens in the buggy have no information. I could add more negative things, I have to emphasize one thing in particular, there are no toilets on the round, a NO GO for women! Overall, not recommended. 3 stars is already too much.

ME this is one of the best places in the whole Algarve. The condition was great, the course design is spectacular. The green fee of over 150 euros is a bit too high in my opinion, even if the cart is included.
Unfortunately, the place is completely overcrowded and there are only 4-flights on the way. Therefore, our round took 5 1/2 hours, which is a bit too much.
