The golf course is situated in immediate proximity of the Golf Course Quinta da Marinha. The club house is very modern and tastefully furnished wand offers large-scale windows with impressive views on the course and the Atlantic Ocean. The feeling of the game on this course is influenced by the steady presence of the Atlantic Ocean, which can be seen from every green.

Portuguese Links golf at its best

This course needs to get a 5 star rating- even with an unfriendly receptionist and overpriced water. The atmosphere is wonderful on the course, the design challenging and the variety it gives from the typical park land courses is truly refreshing. A definitive "must play" when in the area (and focused on golf). Even for those that are more interested in club house lunches, the stunning view of the ocean will compensate for higher prices.

First of all, of course this is a very nice course.
Ocean Views, interesting holes and well kept greens.
This said, a mere 150 greenfee is ridicolous.
Service is non existant. Tee boxes like on the beach.
No halfway house, no water( 2 euro extra for the bottel the "starter"
handed out, no any other goodies. The receptionist did not even manage to properly say good morning.
Go somewhere else.

Played the course in June 2013. It's (always very) windy and the greens and fairways are not in the condition you would expect for a course that claims to be in the top 100 of the world.
