Great course with fantastic views

After a very friendly welcome in the venerable clubhouse, through which I was guided, I was presented with a fair, very well maintained and above all varied links course with a wonderful view of the sea with the surrounding islands and rocks. A fellow player had booked a caddy, but he gave us all tips, which were often very helpful. The birdie book was available free of charge in the pro shop and was indispensable for enjoying the round. The course offers a great deal of playful variety, such as walls that have to be played over, a tee shot over the beach, small streams, blind shots and fast, true greens, one of the most copied par 3 holes in the world ( "Redan": hole 15) .
I treated myself to the crowning glory with my two teammates in the clubhouse with a few single malts, where the bartender proudly presented us with photos of Queen Elizabeth and Charles, which he received for his services to the royal family.
