Characteristics
Minthis is a beautiful and challenging course that winds its way past a 12th-century monastery with breath-taking views of the Troodos Mountains and beyond. The 18-hole, Par 72 championship course boasts outstanding holes that organically follow the natural undulations of the topography, looping past water features and ancient groves, with hundreds of olive trees, fruit orchards and grapevines. As part of a Natura 2000 site, nature is an ever-present element and the Golf Club was recently the first in Cyprus to be awarded with a GEO Certification, recognising the eco-friendly sustainable approach and commitment to nature, resource conservation and community value.
Designed by legendary golf architect Donald Steel in 1994 and renovated by renowned course designers Mackenzie and Ebert, the course is a flawless example of their philosophy that golf courses should fit into the terrain, be in keeping with their setting and focus on the details. They are famed for their work on the British Open Championship courses, the same design company used by the R&A for many of the courses on the Open Rota.

Was not very impressed by the lay out of the course, fairways were in poor condition, the greens very good but slow.
Clubhhouse goid, food too.

Simply Amazing GolfCourse

First time in Cyprus and played golf at Minthis Hills Golf Course with a couple of professional golfers. Must say was very impressed with the course, the design and the difficulty of each hole. Just loved it. The staff were very kind an helpful, lunch was fantastic, i heard their Chef is trained in France. Good on you guys, keep up the great job. Definitely recommend golf and lunch at Minthis Hills. Number one golf course in Cyprus.

In 2008 i attended a wedding in Paphos and part of the celebrations include a round of golf at theTsada golf club, about 12 of us turned out to play at this club and what a surprise we had. On arrival at the Pro shop we were made most welcome by the lady behind the desk, who then dealt with the paying of fees and the issue of the hired clubs and trolley's, we where greeted on the 1st by the starter who briefed us about the course and gave out good advice about hazards we could encounter including snakes that lay resting in the rough. The course it's self was in good condition with decent greens and was a good test for all handicaps. Now that new facilities have been added i would imagine that the course is now even more of a treasure to find up in the hills around Tsada. What ever the name this club now goes under it will be a pleasure to play a round here.
