Characteristics
Located in the south of the island, one of the places in the world with the most sunlight hours per year. It is surrounded by the dunes nature reserve, a protected area of more than 400 acres, a characteristic built into the design of the course.

The dissapointment of the year!!!

My advices :
- do not forget to be there 2 hours before your tee time. You will spend first hour for warming up, and the second hour to stay in crowd for playing. Tee TIMES? A bad joke...
- do not hesitate to rent a buggy : without it, you will not have ANY informations about the hole... no birdie card, no hole description to the beginning, like in the rest of the world (even in ROMANIA !)
- do not expect for cleaning your shoes, or clubs there.
- do not expect for a pitching green. Everybody are using a chipping green for everything. Even for putting. In the same time, I mean...
- do not forget to take an extra pencil. If you will lost it... they won't supply another one.
- do not even think to estimate when you will finish the game, because you won' t be able to know not even you will start it! Take a day off...
- do not take your photo camera with you. Is useless : the course is a urban one, therefore you will see only a few houses and a lot of stones... No views at all.
Of course : you can choose another course, in the neighbourhood. It will be more wise!!!

A well-playable course along the dunes

A playable course in very good condition. It is absolutely doable on foot. A course to play every day. The price for the green fee (EUR 141) and the cart (EUR 50) is the same as everywhere on the island; only the Real is a bit cheaper. Unfortunately, one negative thing to note is that the management overbooks the course. When we wanted to start at our tee time (Sunday afternoon), a flight of four came rushing from hole 18; they had started on hole 10. So for 9 holes there were always three flights on the course. And when we got to hole 10, a flight of one played in. That shouldn't be happening.

Here in Maspalomas for years, course maintenance is OK but not perfect, as always very fast greens. Almost no rough, just sand or smooth earth areas away from the fairways.
Fairways or layout not exciting, but okay for holiday golf!
