Characteristics
Widely regarded as one of England's finest inland courses, Luffenham Heath offers a classic heathland experience in the rolling Rutland countryside. Designed by Charles Hugh Alison in 1911, the course is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest, framed by heather, gorse, and ancient oaks. As a Regional Qualifying venue for The Open, it presents a stern test with fast, subtle greens. The clubhouse complements the sport with a relaxing veranda overlooking the 1st and 18th holes, perfect for post-round dining.
