Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club was the first golf course to be designed by Severiano Ballesteros on the Costa del Sol. The 18-hole championship course varies with contrasting landscapes including three lakes and several streams which make each hole a different challenge. Los Arqueros Golf is in an enviable mountain setting with magnificent views over the Andalusian hills and the Mediterranean.The Environmental, Health & Safety and the Quality certificate make it a unique golf course worth playing and suitable for all handicaps.

Spain golf vacation 2/5. Coming to Costa del Sol to play some good courses. In order to use our Golfhaftet card wisely we choose to play this course and it was great decision. We had one of the first tee times so we had nice view from parking lot and restaurant terrace which is really beautiful. Checking here and booking was very simple and fast. Staff is very helpful, pro-shop is very well equipped. Training areas like in most of Costa del Sol courses are just few steps from clubhouse. Opening hole is nice par 4 downhill, the other holes will open in the valley. Front nine is very challenging and course is not easy to play even if its not too long but fairways are very narrow and green quite small. Back nine were much more exciting for me with more nice views and interesting shots than front nine. Signature hole would be hole number 13, also 14 is very nice. Quality was as I expected, I would only decrease rating for uneven tee boxes and many blind shots. I did not score well but I love it here and would definitely come again and price charged is fair.

This is definitely a beautiful course. Challenging no doubts but worse the effort. Well maintained, fast greens, great scenery with partially spectacular views.
The service from the team was very good and friendly. It was a fun round and we enjoyed a drink afterwards still enjoying the views.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful Ballesteros Square in the mountains above Marbella

We played the course on December 25,2025. The driving range was undergoing renovations and was completely closed, so only a small putting green was available for practice. Additionally, a large water hazard on the 6th hole was being redesigned, meaning all tee boxes on this par 5 were moved significantly forward.
Otherwise, the course was – with a few exceptions – in good condition. Only the teeing areas were often uneven and/or lacked sand; nevertheless, they were perfectly playable. It was noticeable that many players didn't repair their pitch marks on the greens, leading to damage. However, the club can't be held responsible for that.
We received a very friendly welcome and, based on the recommendations on this portal, opted for an electric cart. This proved to be a sensible choice given the topography.
The layout is outstanding and challenging. However, precise drives of approximately 200 meters from the yellow tees also frequently create opportunities to reach the green with shorter irons/wedges.
The restaurant also impressed with its good food and panoramic views. The staff there were also very friendly.
Golfamore offers affordable golf - at the end of the year with bonus times that allow you to repeat your game for half price.
We enjoyed our day of golf at Los Arqueros. The golf was in good condition and definitely a "must play".
