Rising high on Longridge Fell, this historic club offers a distinct golfing test evolved from the 1877 Preston Cycling Club. The course commands spectacular views over the Ribble Valley and the Forest of Bowland. Although a parkland layout, the exposed terrain often introduces a links-style challenge when the wind blows, demanding strategic play on tricky greens. The experience is completed by the Greenwood Bar, where the elevated position provides a panoramic backdrop for post-round relaxation.

The upstairs lounge, known as 'The Greenwood Bar', is the main gathering place for the members and visitors before and after their round of golf. It offers a large spacious area with extensive views of the Ribble Valley and the 1st, 2nd, 17th and 18th holes. The bar area is also a games room with a full size snooker table, dart board, bull ring, quoits and a dominoes and card table. Resident Chef and Steward Marc and Sara Swinburne cater for events (Christenings, Anniversaries, Weddings or Birthday Celebrations) and visiting societies.
