Located in the Tenhaagdoornheide nature reserve, Royal Limburg Golf is a masterpiece of classic heathland design. Established in 1966 by Fred Hawtree, the 18-hole course weaves through pine forests and vast stretches of heather, which turn a spectacular purple in late summer. Thanks to the sandy soil, the fairways remain in pristine condition throughout the year, ensuring year-round playability. Often cited as one of Belgium's most beautiful tracks and ranked within Europe's Top 100, it demands precision and offers a serene atmosphere.

Rated best course in Belgium 2013. Great layout and difficult to score under par. Sometimes the condition on the course could be better but in Limburg there is nothing better. A must to play!

Very good forrest-heather course.
Arriving at the carpark you feel the spirit of golf.
Nice layout with some holes with trees and other with heather.
Excellent quality of fairways and greens.
Would advise this to everyone.

Here the greenkeepers are true artists. On September 20th, 2022, the general condition was incredibly good even after the heat wave: the fairways, the tee boxes, the greens: excellent. The layout of the place is a dream, never boring, the eye is always offered something.. And if the heather is not blooming purple.. it doesn't matter, then it's just rusty red and puts the stamp on the tracks. An absolute must in Belgium. I had previously considered Sart Tilmans to be very good, but Limburg goes a step further in every respect. exceptional place. The green fee of €90 is absolutely reasonable and range balls are included. Absolute recommendation!
