Characteristics
Short and unforgiving this is a very difficult golf course for low handicappers.
Conversely a great test of skill and a good training ground for junior golfers. Senior and lady golfers find the less physically demanding length allows them to use a solid short game to score well. Putting here is an absolute pleasure on year round fine surfaces but testing and undulating in places.

A great little golf club well worth a visit

I have been playing at this golf club for 45 yes 45 years before there was a golf club there. 1973 i started playing here its like any other golf club you always get people moaning the greens are sh..
The fairways are too long this happens in every club at times, but they know where to come in the winter when their clubs are waterlogged. It might be short, water down a few holes, but dont think its a walkover its probably the toughest par 67 you will ever play. Why dont you give it a go, if you think youre good enough. Good Luck.

Here golf is reduced to the elementary things: players, balls, clubs, meadow-like fairways and uneven, mossy greens and no luxury. But a sensational price / performance ratio! A round of golf for £ 6 is only available in the UK.
