This course is just beutiful. Sure it punishes you for bad tee shots but what is most important is that every hole is different from the last and is it challenges you to think. Wonderful experience.

Open de France, Ryder Cup, Olympics… we had seen every hole of this course so many times on television and were thrilled to be there.
Our expectations of the course were enormous, we fulfilled our dream and played the course on two consecutive days.
What can we say, the course exceeded all expectations. The condition of the course was outstanding, the fairways were like green carpets, the greens were fast and sure-footed. At every hole, memories of a scene from one of the big tournaments with the best players in the world.
The packages offered by the hotel on site are fair and not overpriced. The hotel is certainly only mid-range, but completely adequate. What matters is the location, the atmosphere and the history.

I played the Course Albatros at Golf Nationale on June 8,2024:
- great fairways = no weeds, dense, short cut
- fast greens, well maintained (hardly any pitch marks)
The course is challenging because, on the one hand, narrow fairways are accompanied by deep rough (approx. 10-15 cm high, dense grass: if the ball lands there, it is often gone) - and, on the other hand, there is a lot of water lining the fairways both frontally and laterally.
The paths between the courses are sometimes long. We played quickly, there were four of us and it took us 4.5 hours (with push trolleys).
Fun factor = very high.
I would play the course again anytime. I booked a golf package with the Novotel: the hotel is not so good and charged twice...
