Very average golf course

Played Saint Cyprien on 25 July 2016. First impression is that the course is rather worn and tired. Some tees are good, others very poor. Farways are genarally good. Bunkers are excellent and well looked after. But what really lets the course down are the greens.

They look like they are diseased. All are effected, some really badly. Putting is a lottery. I asked in the pro shop after the round if the greens were always like this, and I got a resounding 'yes' from both people behind the counter simultaneously. Not sure if they were just sick of complaints or their response was true..

It's a shame really because the layout has a lot going for it. Best to walk this course if it's not too hot. I used a buggy and it was a bumpy old ride from green to tee and from tee to fairway.

Can't really recommend this one to be honest.

Why not give a review of the place

So: the course is dry, the fairways are barely distinguishable from the rough. Likewise, most holes are pretty much identical. Always straight. From the white, the course may be a challenge, but only for long hitters. Otherwise, it's forgettable. But: the restrooms are very clean, which is unusual for France.
P.S. It would be helpful if the operators of this site would verify the information provided by the facility. A golf resort may be among the best in France, but that doesn't necessarily apply to the course, which, by the way, is now completely overpriced at €80. So, 1golf. eu is no longer of interest to me.

Dried up

We played the 9 hole course. Positive: Dogs are allowed..
Negative: Course in poor, dried-out condition, too expensive with €50 green fee.
