Characteristics
This is one of Germany's oldest golf courses (built in 1930) with an old and tall stock of trees, relatively narrow fairways and small greens that are hard to tee-off from. Situated directly at the gates of Garmisch-Patenkirchen, the course offers a wonderfully close view on the surrounding mountains and the loftily rising Wetterstein Massif with the mountains Alpspitze and Zugspitze.

Beautifully maintained and sporty challenging course that you like to play twice (9 holes - with a few alternate tees). Also easy to play on warm summer days, as there are many shady trees.
Secretariat staffed with very friendly and courteous lady.
Unfortunately the restaurant is closed at 8 p.m. and the pro shop with great offers is closed at 5:30 p.m.
A lot of parking spaces in the shade, but had dog on the lap.
Would love to come back - "Golf with friends"!

Great scenery but the place is not worth it! Also, the streets and the car noise are very disturbing.
We were more than disappointed and - unfortunately the 19 hole was very dry. Nobody there.
