Laguna Golf Phuket is an 18-hole, par-71 golf course, set within the world renowned Laguna Phuket Resort - Asia’s first fully integrated destination resort.
With easy accessibility by complimentary shuttle services between the surrounding hotels in Laguna Phuket, the recently thoroughly redesigned golf course has met its most significant moment as it has been revitalized in order to be a very playable, enjoyable yet truly challenging golf course for enthusiasts of all abilities, after 22 years of royal playing by members.
Measuring 6,719 yards, the newly upgraded course features a wealth of scenic lagoons, coconut groves and undulating fairways. As it reopened in January 2015, the new landscaping provides golfers with two distinct scenic experiences with lush tropical foliage on the front nine, while the back holes feature coconut groves and sand bunkers. A scenic backdrop comprising Phuket Mountains, and the Andaman Ocean frames its sprawling tract whenever one goes.

Very nice golfcourse

We played Laguna golfcourse for the first time. It is a very nice course, renovated 2 years ago and well looked after. The whole course is challenging, a lot of water hazards and the greens are perfect. Caddies and staff very friendly and helpful.

Scenic course, unplayable due to mud 3.5 ⭐️

We were here in the rainy season and played the course 2 1/4 times. I would advise against playing here in the rainy season, as the fairways are mostly muddy and the ball is often unplayable, or after the shot you look like you've been in a mud fight. Basically every tee shot was on the carry point and had almost completely disappeared into the "grass". Our home course would certainly not have been open, but money rules the world. Since we also played Red Mountain and Loch Palm, where the holes were much more playable, the Laguna Swamp really has to be criticized.
Otherwise a great course that seems easy at first, but has to be played very precisely and the greens are tricky. Great caddies, great clubhouse, very scenic course. Definitely great to play in the dry season, the name LAGUNA is a warning in itself in the rainy season ☝️

Course played on February 12th, 2024 Fareway condition: ok; It's pretty hard because it's not very wet, the greens are good, the bunkers are ok. On 16 of the 18 holes you're accompanied by water and when, like in our case, there's gusty wind, it's a pure challenge! Golfer's heart, what more could you want?
Each lane offers a new picture: water on the right, on the left, several crossings and island greens => you just have to love it.
