The resort is home to an 18-hole championship course designed by the legendary Christy O’Connor Jnr. Spanning 186 acres of rolling parkland, the layout is known for its undulating fairways and demanding water features. A highlight is the 200-year-old weir on the Knightsbrook River near the fourth fairway, adding a historic touch to the round. Golfers must also navigate distinctive limestone walls that meander through several holes. Having hosted the 2011 Junior Solheim Cup, the course offers a stern test. Interestingly course with beautiful fairways. The course was in good condition and at least when we played it on a working day - relatively empty. The green fee is a little high.
