I have played this course in August 2014 and loved it! It was the final round of a golf week in South West Scotland and by far the nicest place I've played. The terrain is hilly, the orientation between the orbits sometimes difficult, and some paths intersect, but overall the place is designed very interesting, with some very characterful lines. The course offers a parkland course a nice contrast to the nearby links courses on the coast. I was talking after the round with the club secretary, who told me that they had just a need to reduce by three Greek keepers, because the revenue from guests were decreased (due to the general economic situation). This makes such "hidden gems" are long - definitely visit if you are in the neighborhood!
